The Indian Visa Application Center is authorized by the Embassy of India in Switzerland to accept applications for Visa, collect application charges including the visa fees and returning documents to applicants.
All applications will be processed and decided by the Embassy of India, Bern, Switzerland.
Indian Visa Application Center is managed by VF Services (Switzerland) Ltd. The decision to grant or refuse a visa is made solely by the designated authoritiesat the Embassy of India in Switzerland. Staff members of VF Services (Switzerland) Ltd. have no role or influence over the outcome of an application.

If the application has been completed you must
download & print all form/s, read and complete checklist for type of visa. |

Check fees payable, payment Options and documents
required. All such details can be found in the respective visa categories under
the section

Sign form/s at all indicated places. (signatures
required on visa application form 2x, referral form (if applicable) 1x) |

Ensure photos are strictly as per specifications. (link) (size 50mm x 50mm, colored
and light background. A fotobooth taking pictures as per specification is
available at the IVAC Bern (4pics for the price of CHF 20) |

Check
processing time to plan your travel accordingly.

Attach all supporting documents required as per the
Checklist. Make sure your application is complete. Incomplete applications
cannot be accepted. |

Submit your Application along with the passport and
required documents at the Indian Visa Application Centre in Berne in person, by
a representative or by mail (see
postal applications) |

Track your Application online.

Your passport will be returned to you by the mode of
delivery opted by you when submitted.

A new version of the Online Visa Application Form
would be available effective 22nd July 2011. Hand written forms will
no longer be accepted at the India Visa Application Centre, Bern with effect
from 22nd July 2011. Please refer to Important News & Notices
section of the website.

Please note that all applicants are solely
responsible for the applications they submit. Any false documents or other
misrepresentation of information in support of their application will have a
direct bearing on the judgment of their application by the Embassy of India in
Switzerland.

The Embassy in Berne has jurisdiction over the whole
of Switzerland, as well as the Principality of Liechtenstein.
For functional reasons, residents of French speaking areas of Switzerland, viz. Neuchatél, Lausanne, Nyon, Valais, Vaud, Montreux, Geneva etc. should apply for consular and visa services at the
